A bit of a delay getting the documentation together due to attending at KansasFest and then needing to drive 1900 miles to get home. Anyway, the Getting Started and Sync Sensor Installation sections are coming together in the Documentation section.
Getting Started documentation coming later today.
All of the Applesauce units have shipped out. I’m a bit behind in getting the Applesauce setup documentation posted due to being at KansasFest. I’ll have it up later today. The most important thing to know is that the ribbon cable for the disk drive should point downward. You should also unplug the USB connection from your computer whenever you are attaching or removing any cables.
All Applesauce units are built and tested!
Everything is ready to go! Bandy will be shipping out units over this coming week while I am at KansasFest. Please be patient as it is a ton of work to get everything packed and out the door. Many thanks to everyone that has supported getting us to this point. Anybody that would like to get on the waiting list for the 2nd run, just use the contact form at the link at the top of the page.
All the parts are in!
Final assembly of Applesauce controllers is in progress! The first units will be shipping by the end of the week!
Here we go!
If you are on the wait list for the first run of Applesauce, then you should have an email waiting for you. After a couple weeks of delays from the manufacturer, I finally have confirmation that they have shipped the PCBs to me. This was what I was waiting on before I felt comfortable to collect money from folks. There will be a lot of assembly going on around here this coming week. I am expecting to be shipping out units July 13-27.
Assembly is well under way!
The first run of 100 Applesauce units is progressing well through the assembly stage (all units have already been spoken for). All of the preliminary assembly has been completed. Currently just waiting on the PCBs to arrive from China. The manufacturer is running a little behind schedule but says that I will have all of the boards next week.
Well, that was quick…
Wow, all 100 Applesauce units were spoken for within 16 hours! Thanks so much, everyone! There were also enough people that missed the initial 100 unit cutoff that I can guarantee that there will be a second run. I’ll be looking at doing that in August or September.
Preorders are open!
The first run of Applesauce units are a go! I have given the manufacturer the thumbs up to produce 100 units. Send an email to applesauce@evolutioninteractive.com to get your name on the wait list.
Welcome! Please excuse all the dust.
I’m finally getting a website put together for the Applesauce project. It will be messy for a bit while I get the content all laid out.
